Welcome to our August 2022 Newsletter!
We hope everyone is coping okay with these hot and sticky summer days and are able to find some cool spots for knitting and crocheting. Grumpy Goat had a busy July hosting two successful trunk shows (The Sheepyshire and Sweet Sparrow) and two “Hat-not-Hate” knit-togethers where blue hats were created in support of the anti-bullying project. Approximately 15 hats, to be distributed to students during October’s anti-bullying month, were sent to Hat-not-Hate at the end of July.
Now take a look at what’s happening in August...
We excitedly introduce:
Rhinebeck Sweater KAL
This knit-along, features the lovely CALADAN sweater by Tamy Gore. Along with the Madelinetosh original shades of the pattern, a great selection of other DK yarns will be available for your perusal at the store. Please let us know by mid August if you're interested in participating in this KAL. If we have enough interest we’ll set up a schedule for KAL get-togethers through late August and September.
The New York Sheep and Wool Festival will take place in Rhinebeck on October 15-16.
All classes are taught by Kirsten Gabrielsen of DANSTRIK - Knitting Lessons and More.
