The Peacock dress is knitted in the round from the bottom up with raglan shaping.
The body of the dress is a swingy A-line silhouette in a lace stitch pattern.
The sleeves are knitted in the round in stockinette stitch, and are joined to the lacy skirt at the underarm.
The crew neckline is knitted back and forth, and for ease of fitting is designed with a side opening held closed with a crocheted loop and a button.
